Chris was born in Pensacola, FL. His music career began at the age of 4 on a set of Mickey Mouse drums given to him by his Great Grandmother. Chris' love of music began early and by the age of 12 he was playing guitar. To further his music education he decided to play the trumpet in his middle school band. He quickly learned to read music and hone his skills through out his Middle school years.
While living in San Diego, CA. he met some friends who had the same enthusiasm for playing music and together they would form the first of several bands. Chris played trumpet and sang. After that first experience of performing before an audience he knew that music was his passion. He continued to play trumpet through out High school. Always interested in new ways to play and sing he turned to the piano and would sneak down to the music room to teach himself how to play by ear. His confidence and music skill continued to grow.
He eventually moved back to Pensacola and needing a change of direction joined the US Marine Corp. While stationed overseas and after a two year departure from playing music he had his guitar shipped to him. The guitar became his primary instrument and still is to this day.
Chris is a Guitar Instructor and Assistant Show Choir Instructor at Okaloosa Ft. Walton College. Chris has preformed with the OWC Show Choir and discovered he enjoyed this aspect of the arts more that he ever thought he would. Chris says “I'm addicted. I still cannot seem to escape the thrill of performing and continue to do so regularly with my favorite band”. We call ourselves “RELIX
